Welcome to Mommy's a Fan Girl!

Welcome to Mommy's a Fan Girl!  There are tons of blogs out there devoted to celebrities and even more devoted to motherhood, but none like this.

First and foremost, I'm a devoted mother to my two little boys, Monkey and Little Toes.  I'm a thirty-something (and that's as specific as I'll get!) stay at home mom who tries to focus her energy on providing a wonderful and loving home to her beautiful boys and handsome, hard-working husband, Sexy Geek.  The problem? Inside I'm still a squealing twelve year old fan girl who drools over gorgeous actors, knows way too much useless trivia and celebrity gossip, and would rather watch Harry Potter than clean the house.

If you're reading this to find out if Brangelina adopted a new kid or the details of  the Kardashian sisters' love lives, you've stopped at the wrong blog.  Please pass go, collect $200 and don't let the door hit you on the rump on the way out.  On the other hand, if you've ever debated the merits of David Tennant versus Matt Smith, just know you'd be in Slytherin if you were ever sorted, argued that Spike was WAY better than Angel for Buffy, know exactly why Jess belongs with Rory, or have a small crush on Leonard Hofstadter, then this blog is for you.

Mainstream celebrities aren't my thing, but if something “mainstream” catches my eye, you can bet I'll tell you about it. At Mommy's a Fan Girl you'll see all the latest news, celebrity interviews, and television and movie reviews mixed in with all the quirky ups and downs of Mommy-hood.

I value your opinion as the reader and welcome your questions, input, and suggestions, so please don't hesitate to drop me a line using the contact form to the right.  I currently have a preschooler learning to read and a teething baby as well as a constant debate on why the Wolf Pack is so much better than a bunch of sparkly-ass vampires, so I promise I'll try to get back to each of you as quickly as I can.

Remember to keep your arms and legs inside the vehicle at all times and enjoy the ride.  Thanks for reading!
